Remote
Medicine was initially launched in 1993, but was not incorporated
until 2000, due to constraints of funding, site selection, curriculum
planning, and faculty selection. We seek long-term underwriters
to fund this endeavor. Contributions will cover direct aid to selected
remote populations, expenses for residents, salaries for on-site
faculty, educational supplies, and medical equipment. Contributions
are tax-deductible and contributors will receive recognition for
their gifts.
